I need a form where a checkbox must be checked in order to submit.
I am using C# and am pretty new to it, I just found out the Required Field Validator that works with text box's won't work with checkboxes so I need another way to do this.
Does anyone know a way to validate checkboxes in ASP. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Provide some details on your code, and i'll help you figure out why it's not working.
Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S. "Thanks, but I saw something like that already and we don't have Visual Studio . url=/library/en-us/vblr7/html/The bin directory will be in the web application root and will hold all of the assemblies the application uses. Via the resource switch of csc.exe, for instance this would embed in my App.cs: C:\ boulder_bum, thanks again, but there is no "css.exe" on our Web server, we have no "bin" directory and no "web application root," either, in our Web server, and I don't write C#.
I'm tempted to extend Custom Validator, add a property Control Value Id2 to pass the ID of my second Check Box List, but i can't help but feel there must be a better way.
The reason i use 2 checkboxlists is because the data is coming from 2 different database with different schemas and even if they look the same, under the hood they are different.
